Job Description

A Medical Representative in the dental field plays a critical role in the marketing and promotion of dental products and pharmaceuticals. This position involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with dental professionals, including dentists, orthodontists, and dental hygienists, as well as procurement departments in dental practices. The medical representative is responsible for generating sales, providing product information, and delivering presentations to educate healthcare professionals on the latest treatments, devices, and products available. Success in this role requires a combination of in-depth knowledge of dental products, stellar communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell dental products successfully to dentists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop strong relationships with dental professionals to ensure long-term product usage.
  • Conduct presentations to educate dental professionals on new dental products and technologies.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor products to enhance sales strategies effectively.
  • Meet assigned sales goals and objectives consistently within the designated territory.
  • Assist in organizing medical conferences, events, and workshops to promote products.
  • Collect and report feedback from customers to improve product offerings and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to resolve issues and answer product-related questions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline marketing and sales processes.
  • Facilitate and manage the distribution of sample products to key dental professionals.
  • Continuously update knowledge of industry trends and product innovations in dental care.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in dental sciences, pharmacy, marketing, or related field required.
  • Proven sales experience in the dental or broader pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret sales data and market insights effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver s license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure to meet targets.
