Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic media buying plans tailored to specific target audiences, ensuring optimal ad placements across various channels.
- Negotiate and secure advertising space and time with media vendors, leveraging relationships to achieve favorable rates and terms.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics regularly, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure that ad content aligns with media placements and resonates with the intended audience.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging platforms to identify new opportunities for innovative media buys that can enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing campaign performance, including key metrics and insights that inform future media strategies.
- Conduct competitive analysis to understand market positioning and adjust media strategies accordingly for better market penetration.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms to optimize media buying processes and increase efficiency.
- Foster strong relationships with media vendors and partners to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and explore new collaboration opportunities.
- Manage budgets for media purchases, ensuring that all expenditures align with financial goals and reporting any discrepancies promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus for strategic insight.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in media buying or planning, with a proven track record of successful campaigns across multiple channels.
- Experience in both traditional and digital media landscapes, showcasing versatility in ad placement strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation tools, enabling informed decision-making based on campaign performance.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, showcasing an ability to secure advantageous media buying agreements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate strategies and insights to stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment, balancing multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages can be an asset in multicultural advertising environments.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, equipped to respond to changes in market trends and technology swiftly.
