Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Foreman to oversee and supervise marine construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with specifications. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in marine construction and hold a valid UAE driving license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities for marine construction projects, including piling, quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, dredging, and related works.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Lead and guide site teams, subcontractors, and workers to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor material, equipment, and manpower requirements, ensuring timely availability on site.
- Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
- Prepare daily site progress reports and communicate updates to the Project Engineer / Site Manager.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines at all times.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in marine construction projects within the UAE.
- Diploma / Technical Certificate in Civil, Marine, or Construction Engineering (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of marine construction techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
