Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Export Sales & Market Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive export strategy to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Manage pricing and sales strategies for used vehicles across international markets.
  • Identify and establish relationships with international buyers, importers, and suppliers.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, demand, and new business opportunities in target regions.
  • Expand the customer base by negotiating and securing long-term agreements with buyers and distributors.

Inventory & Logistics Management:

  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring availability of the right vehicle mix for different markets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to optimize vehicle disposal strategies and export operations.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet export compliance, legal documentation, and market-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Manage logistics, freight forwarding, and shipping processes for timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, customs policies, and country-specific import/export requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of export documentation, including invoices, customs declarations, and compliance reports.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of automotive trade laws in key export destinations.

Business Development & Performance Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Develop financial models and performance reports to track export sales and margins.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities within logistics and export operations.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, market insights, and competitor analysis to senior management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in used car sales in the UAE, with at least 3 years specializing in export markets.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export documentation.
  • Proven track record in business development and sales management in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in English & Arabic (preferred) and experience using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience working with GCC, African, and Asian markets for vehicle exports is an advantage.
