ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Manager Commercial is responsible for establishing sourcing strategies, leading cross-functional strategic sourcing and managing merchandizing teams. The role holder is responsible for managing and negotiating with suppliers to execute contracts and optimize opportunities. Finally, he/she is in charge of defining and implementing selection of assortment, definition of category profitability, and promotional national calendar.

ROLE PROFILE

• Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional strategic sourcing and merchandizing teams.
• Manage and negotiate with suppliers to execute contracts and optimize opportunities.
• Manage category suppliers to act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories; anticipate strategic opportunities and keep key stakeholders informed.
• Define country strategic merchandise and assortment through product.
• Ensure online assortment and selection is available and matches the offline assortment and selection to provide a similar customer experience.
• Ensure the implementation of the performance management process.
• Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles.
• Identify training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements.
• Provide inputs while developing MAF Retail s corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor the implementation.
• Monitor allocated budget to ensure compliance and take corrective measures when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor s degree in E- Commerce or Business Administration.
• Master s degree in e-commerce, supply chain is a plus.
• E-commerce experience is required
