Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues professionally
- Carry out preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment
- Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs
- Replace light bulbs, A C filters, switches, outlets, and guestroom fixtures
- Identify and operate utility shut-off valves and follow Lockout and Tagout procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance inventory and request parts and supplies when required
- Support basic landscaping repairs and irrigation system maintenance
- Program TVs and assist with engineering-related housekeeping tasks
- Record daily activities and communicate shift handovers using approved systems
- Follow all safety, security, and quality standards at all times
- Maintain professional appearance, protect company assets, and respect confidentiality
- Assist guests courteously and support colleagues to achieve team goals
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Some experience in general building maintenance or hotel engineering preferred
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems
Valid driving license required
Ability to use basic computer systems for scheduling and reporting
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working on ladders or stairs
Clear communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
