Job Description

The Maintenance Project Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance projects to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management and maintenance systems, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that safety, quality, and budgetary objectives are met. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to streamline maintenance operations, improve processes, and reduce downtime. In addition to technical expertise, the Maintenance Project Manager must possess excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate teams in achieving project goals.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for maintenance initiatives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring expenditures remain within approved limits.
  • Assess and mitigate potential project risks and obstacles in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to optimize project delivery.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Provide leadership and direction to maintenance staff and project teams.
  • Oversee the procurement of necessary materials and equipment for project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation, including reports and presentations for management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance project management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance operations and project management principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in project management.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations is crucial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with innovative and strategic thinking capabilities.
