Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit customs documentation and declarations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Monitor and analyze changes in trade regulations and customs laws to provide clients with timely updates and advice.
- Manage the logistics of shipments, including tracking and resolving any issues related to customs clearance.
- Negotiate with freight forwarders and carriers to optimize shipping routes and costs for clients.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or International Trade is preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in customs brokerage or a related field is essential for success.
- Proficiency in customs software and documentation management systems is required to streamline processes.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs compliance is a must-have.
- Strong negotiation skills to manage relationships with clients, carriers, and customs officials effectively.
