Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As Leadership Development Officer, you will be responsible to provide dedicated support to the Leadership Development team across all four stages of the learning cycle: needs identification, solution design, module delivery and learning evaluation for supervisory and management development.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct training needs analysis exercises, ensuring that learning events are effectively targeted at the correct individuals and groups of participants.
- Analyse data from a variety of sources (PM! reviews, competency ratings, development centres, structured interviews with line managers, etc) to ensure that the purpose of the development activity is correctly identified.
- In co-ordination with the Leadership Skills Development Manager (LSDM) design a range of learning solutions that directly address generic and individual management and supervisory development needs across the Emirates Group.
- Deliver the full range of management and supervisory learning solutions across the Emirates Group.
- In co-ordination with the LSDM review all existing and future internal and external leadership programmes across the Emirates Group, evaluating their effectiveness and where necessary making proposals to continue, change or cease their operation.
- To develop and implement a common approach and standard of evaluation for all leadership development products and services.
- Review all existing and future internal and external leadership programmes across the Emirates Group to ensure a consistent and comprehensive approach to blending traditional learning events with e-learning.
- To ensure that the appropriate digital learning support is available pre, during and post programme to ensure that maximum leverage is gained from the potential of e-learning.
- To produce proposals for purchasing or developing the appropriate e-learning materials to meet identified learning needs.
- Establish and maintain a learning objects library with the aim of providing a consistent and accessible database of exercises and materials that can be utilised effectively in current and future leadership programmes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Undergraduate Degree level in a relevant field with a minimum of 4 years experience in a training and developmental role across all four aspects of the learning cycle or A level education with a minimum of 7 years in training and developmental role across all four aspects of the learning cycle.
- Knowledge of all MS office packages and design/development methodologies for leadership development packages.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working on various projects at one time.
- Experience in the design and development of learning packages.
- Group facilitation skills would be an added advantage.
