Core Duties

* Supervise daily laundry operations, ensuring all linen, uniforms, and guest laundry meet quality standards
* Maintain accurate records of daily production, staff attendance, and chemical stock levels
* Oversee outsourced laundry services and ensure adherence to quality and environmental standards
* Conduct inspections for cleanliness, defects, and recommend linen or uniform replacement when needed
* Train staff on proper textile care, equipment handling, and safe working procedures
* Schedule preventive maintenance for laundry equipment and report malfunctions to engineering
* Rotate employees across different duties to optimize productivity and skills development
* Maintain workplace safety, enforce health and fire safety policies, and report potential hazards
* Support monthly inventory activities and ensure cost control measures are followed
* Create a positive work culture, address staff concerns, and resolve cross-cultural issues effectively
* Deliver guest-focused service by ensuring laundry quality and timely delivery

Candidate Profile

* Previous supervisory experience in hotel laundry operations preferred
* Strong knowledge of textiles, laundry equipment, and quality control standards
* Ability to train, supervise, and motivate a diverse team
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple responsibilities
* Familiarity with safety regulations, chemical handling, and preventive maintenance procedures
* Strong interpersonal skills with a guest and staff-focused approach
* Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
