Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior Laundry Ironing Expert will be responsible for finishing, steam pressing and ironing all kinds of cloth. He must be good with Abhaya, Khandura, Ghatra, Saree & other festive Indian clothing, formal wear pressing along with having very good overall exposure to washing, drying, ironing, packing process. Ability to take on additional responsibilities will be a plus.
Desired Candidate Profile
Responsibilities Identify fabrics & read care label instructions properly to choose correct methods based on it. Full knowledge of ironing different types of cloth, and standard industrial steam press equipment. Knowledge of what chemicals to be used based on stain type and fabric type (coloured/ Whitelinen/ other).
Qualifications Minimum 5 years experience with atleast 2 years in Dubai/ Abu Dhabi/ Sharjah or other GCC Countries). Ability to visit in person for Interview and Tests, and join immediately if selected. If already employed elsewhere, serve a notice period of 1 month and join thereafter.
Required Skills Strong scientific understanding of fabrics, detergents, stain chemistry, and handling delicate/premium garments. Persons must be Amicable, Energetic, Proactive, Honest, Team player with good communication skills, Responsible. Should be able to speak Hindi. English/ Arabic will be a plus. Any Nationality who meets above requirements can apply.
Ability to take on responsibilities/ valid UAE driving licence will attract higher salary.
