The Landscape Supervisor, supervises team leaders and groundskeepers to ensure proper maintenance of landscapes and efficient use of equipment. The role involves scheduling, coordinating daily tasks, overseeing equipment operation, and ensuring the property is well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train team leaders and their crews in horticultural best practices.
• Manage site resources: manpower, tools, and machinery.
• Implement and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules (PPM).
• Monitor plant health, watering, fertilization, and pest management.
• Plant trees, flowers, and plants using proper techniques; mix growing mediums as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of gardens, sidewalks, driveways, planters, and fountains.
• Ensure safe working conditions and enforce safety protocols.
• Train staff on proper use of hand tools and machinery (lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, chain saws, blowers, sprayers, drills, brush cutters, edge cutters, aerators).
• Perform basic machinery troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Manage storage areas, tools, and equipment efficiently.
• Coordinate with clients on minor requests within project scope and ensure satisfaction.
• Follow up with subcontractors and suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Report irrigation requirements to the irrigation supervisor and coordinate watering as per season.
• Maintain daily records: timesheets, work orders, delivery notes, and material requisitions.
• Measure site areas and report plant/material requirements to the supervisor.
• Apply chemicals under engineer supervision and handle medium irrigation rectification works.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding daily operations.

Qualifications:

• Above Metric/ Diploma.
• Minimum 4 years experience in landscape maintenance.
• Valid UAE manual driving license.
• Experience with plant identification (palms, trees, shrubs, groundcovers, succulents).
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, fertilizers, and chemicals.
• Ability to supervise, train, and manage teams.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Skills:

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Mechanical aptitude for basic maintenance of tools and machinery.
• Knowledge of hardscape installation basics (interlock removal/reinstatement).
• Time management, active listening, and critical thinking.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in lawns, parks, gardens, or occasionally greenhouses.
• Exposure to heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
• Weekend work and shift duties as required.
