Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and urban planners to integrate landscape elements seamlessly into larger projects.
  • Develop innovative landscape designs that enhance both aesthetics and functionality, ensuring they align with client vision and environmental sustainability.
  • Conduct site analysis to assess topography, climate, and existing vegetation, translating findings into practical design solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and urban planners to integrate landscape elements seamlessly into larger projects.
  • Select appropriate plant materials and hardscape elements, considering local climate, soil conditions, and ecological impact.
  • Implement maintenance plans for completed projects, ensuring long-term health and sustainability of the landscape.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and regulations, continuously enhancing professional knowledge and expertise.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity for clients and contractors.
  • Develop innovative landscape designs that enhance both aesthetics and functionality, ensuring they align with client vision and environmental sustainability.
  • Implement maintenance plans for completed projects, ensuring long-term health and sustainability of the landscape.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and regulations, continuously enhancing professional knowledge and expertise.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution, ensuring a solid educational foundation.
  • Licensure as a Landscape Architect, demonstrating commitment to professional standards and practices in the field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, showcasing a proven track record of successful landscape design projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, facilitating efficient and high-quality design documentation.
  • Experience in residential and commercial landscape design, with a portfolio that reflects diverse project types and scales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Strong knowledge of plant species, horticulture, and environmental sustainability, ensuring designs are both beautiful and ecologically sound.
