Laboratory Technician OPERATIONS

Job description Job Title: Laboratory Technician Location: Dubai, 3 to 6 months, followed by Permanent relocation to West Africa Experience: Minimum 5 years required Industry: Precious Metals Production Key Responsibilities: • Conduct accurate testing and analysis of gold and other precious metals to determine purity, quality, and content. • Utilise chemical, fire assay, and instrumental techniques to produce precise results. • Ensure all testing complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of assay results for internal and external use. • Handle, store, and dispose of hazardous chemicals in compliance with safety regulations. • Collaborate with refining and production teams to verify the quality and consistency of materials. • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Monitor and control laboratory inventory, including chemicals, samples, and consumables. • Implement best practices in laboratory safety and quality assurance. • Must be willing to relocate to West Africa.
