Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:/strong>
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen and back-of-house areas.
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper cleaning of dishes, utensils, glassware, and cookware.
- Handle and store kitchen equipment safely and properly.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff by providing clean tools, plates, and workspaces on time.
- Dispose of waste responsibly, following hotel hygiene and safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries in storage areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or shortages to the stewarding supervisor.
- Follow HACCP and hotel safety standards at all times.
- Uphold the luxury hotel s standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction.
Desired Candidate Profile
strong>Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:/strong>
- Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen support (luxury hotel experience preferred).
- Basic knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
