Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Reviewing engineering drawings and other technical details to understand the scope of work (SOW), quantity, material grade, submission date given in customer RFQ provided by sales. In case the SOW is not clear, or submission date cannot be met, communicate with salesperson.
  • Prepare the estimation sheet /schedule bar chart considering all inputs given in the customer RFQ.
  • Ensure that the estimation covers and reflects all the scope, general conditions and requirements of items are appropriately captured in the estimate.
  • Responsible for providing complete take-off analysis, estimate and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.
  • Co-ordinate with production team / Installation team to identify the potential risks for critical jobs.
  • Co-ordinate & communicate with department managers to carry out the feasibility checking of critical jobs.
  • All the estimates to be logged in to the enquiry register and working to be documented in the estimation sheet.
  • Should have Minimum 3 Years of experience in Steel door manufacturing industry or 5 Years of experience in Manufacturing industry

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Good knowledge skills in Office tools mainly in Advanced excel
  • Read and understand project drawings.
  • Ability to work at under pressure
  • Good experience in AutoCAD 2D
