Job Description

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be a vital part of our technology team, ensuring the smooth operation of our company's IT systems. You will be the go-to person for solving any technical issues and provide exceptional customer support to our employees. Your expertise will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, contributing significantly to our business's overall productivity. Working closely with other IT professionals, you will implement, troubleshoot, and maintain both hardware and software systems, ranging from desktops to complex network environments. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a strong grasp of technical knowledge, and a customer-centric approach, as you will often be the first point of contact for IT-related concerns.


Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to all company employees.
  • Diagnose and resolve IT hardware and software related issues promptly.
  • Install and configure computer systems, applications, and networks as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT support activities and resolutions.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and system updates to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to optimize system performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for hardware and software purchases and repairs.
  • Train and guide non-technical staff in the use of relevant technologies.
  • Monitor and manage IT security protocols to protect company data.
  • Support the implementation of new software and technology projects.
  • Respond to emergency IT issues with a sense of urgency and professionalism.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with network configurations, VPNs, and remote access solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Certification in CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar credential is advantageous.
