Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, and monitor progress against these benchmarks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
  • Facilitate project meetings, providing updates, gathering feedback, and ensuring all team members are aligned and informed.
  • Utilize project management tools to track progress, report on key performance indicators, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, implementing processes that enhance project delivery and quality.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess successes and areas for improvement, applying lessons learned to future projects.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and external partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring service delivery meets expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and adopting innovative project management methodologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong foundation in software development principles.
  • Over 10 years of indepth practical project management experience with successful delivery of business transformation projects of high business impact (eg Oracle ERP upgradation)
  • Successful implementation of digital solution projects (IoT, BI , eCommerce, Digital Marketing, ARtificial Intelligence, etc)
  • Preferred manufacturing business expertise and Oracle EBS upgradation and oracle fusion migration projects
  • Preffered training & certification for PMP(Agile, Scrum, PMI or Prince II, ) / ITIL / Jira, Microsoft office PM, Primavera
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the IT sector, showcasing a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Experience working in dynamic environments, particularly in technology-driven industries such as software development or cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams) to facilitate team coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess project performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus, especially for international project teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage stakeholders at all levels and convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, fostering a positive team environment and motivating team members to achieve project goals.
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced environments, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
