We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Infrastructure & Linux Specialist to strengthen our IT capabilities. This role combines a balanced focus: 50% dedicated to maintaining and enhancing IT infrastructure, and 50% managing and optimizing Linux-based systems.

About The Role

This is a broad and versatile position requiring hands-on expertise across IT infrastructure, systems, networking, and security. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, supporting both daily operations and strategic projects.

Your Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure

• Design, implement, and maintain servers, storage, networks, firewalls, and server room environments
• Monitor on-premises infrastructure ensuring high availability, security, and performance
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, patching, and routine maintenance
• Provide 2nd/3rd line support and contribute to infrastructure projects (upgrades, migrations, integrations)
• Maintain clear documentation of systems and processes
  
  
  

• Administer and optimize Linux servers (Ubuntu, SUSE, RHEL)
• Automate administration tasks using shell scripting, Ansible, or similar tools
• Monitor performance, security compliance, and system availability
• Manage user access, permissions, package management, and kernel upgrades
• Support containerized environments (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure compliance with change control and security policies
  
  
  

• 5+ years combined experience in infrastructure and Linux systems administration
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking (switching, firewalls), virtualization (VMware), and storage (NetApp)
• Proven Linux production environment administration skills
• Proficiency with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible)
• Solid understanding of IT security principles
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Broad technical expertise and adaptability in diverse IT environments
  
  
  

• Certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, VMware VCP
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Exposure to DevOps tools and workflows
