Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Experience & Background
8–10 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in the foodstuff/FMCG sector.
Experience in managing multi-temperature storage (Ambient, Chiller, Frozen).
Prior experience in FIFO/FEFO, batch and expiry management is a must.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Certifications in Inventory Control, WMS systems are advantageous.
Functional Skills
Strong understanding of inventory control processes, stock accuracy, and reconciliation.
Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
Ability to conduct cycle counts, stock audits, and root cause analysis.
Food Safety & Compliance
Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and municipality regulations in UAE.
Experience handling expiry-sensitive stock and complying with cold chain standards.
Analytical & Operational Skills
Strong analytical skills in inventory forecasting, shrinkage control, and space utilization.
Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies quickly and accurately.
KPI monitoring – stock turnover, order accuracy, wastage control, etc.
Soft Skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Excellent communication and coordination with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams.
Strong team leadership and time management skills.
