Role Summary:

The main purpose of the job is to carry out the responsibilities of the Internal Audit Manager, covering all control review and internal auditing requirements of Inchcape Shipping Services World and its Group Companies. This includes:

ul> li>Consulting with the business to help identify and document key controls either in place or required to improve the control framework and mitigate key risks. /li> li>Planning and delivering portfolio of audit and control review engagements to provide an independent assessment of the effectiveness of managements controls over managing key group risks. This includes planning, conducting and reviewing controls, audit fieldwork and developing audit reports or other deliverables for agreement with the Head of Risk and Internal Audit and key stakeholders. br> br> /li> /ul>Contract: Permanentbr> br>Location: Dubai, UAE (Hybrid)br> br>Candidate Requirements:
br> ul> li>Professional experience in an internal control, internal or external audit team, relevant business processes and/ or knowledge of the industry. /li> li>Experience in the development, review and updating of control frameworks. /li> li>Experience in the development, review and updating of audit policies, procedures and templates. /li> li>Possess a strong knowledge of auditing governance, risk management, information technology, finance and commercial operations and have an ability to demonstrate a good understanding of risk, control and governance in an operations focussed business. /li> li>Excel advanced skills including v-look ups, pivot tables, macros etc. /li> li>A self-driven, pro-active and motivated individual with an ability to work independently to deliver factually accurate, professional and proactive audit reports, working with minimal supervision. /li> li>Approachable with good communication and people skills and an ability to influence and enlist support from a wide range of individuals whilst being aware of and respecting cultural differences. /li> li>Able to undertake travel across ISS world at reasonable notice (25-40% usually for 1-2 weeks at a time). /li> li>Demonstrates effective time, organizational and prioritisation skills. /li> li>Excellent English language skills; demonstrates effective presentation and report writing skills. /li> li>University degree/li> li>Audit and/or IT/ accounting qualification i.e. CMIIA, CIA, CISA, ACCA, or equivalent experiencebr> br> /li> /ul>
