As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for liaising with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget to create design concepts that match their expectations. You will employ your expertise in design software and your understanding of color schemes, lighting, and materials to develop innovative interior solutions. An ideal candidate will possess strong communication and project management skills to coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine design preferences, space requirements, and functionality.
• Develop detailed design plans, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software tools.
• Select appropriate furniture, decorative accessories, lighting, and materials for projects.
• Create mood boards and present design concepts to clients for approval and feedback.
• Manage the interior design project lifecycle from concept through completion.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure design feasibility and adherence.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source and procure design materials and goods.
• Prepare cost estimates and establish project budgets to manage client expectations.
• Conduct site visits and supervise installation of design elements and materials.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and emerging technologies in design.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines in all design implementations.
• Participate in post-project evaluations to gather insights and improve future projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field required.
• Proven experience in interior design with a strong creative portfolio necessary.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent visualization skills and a keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards essential.
