Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Negotiate freight rates and contracts with shipping lines and freight forwarders to optimize costs and service levels.
  • Prepare and review all necessary documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues that may arise during transit, ensuring timely delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in International Trade or Customs Compliance is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in working with customs regulations and freight forwarding processes is essential.
