Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Technical Pre-Sales Support:

  • Analyze client RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents to determine requirements.

  • Provide technical consultation to the sales team and clients on ICT solutions.

  • Attend client meetings to assess requirements and present solutions.

    Solution Design:

  • Design ICT infrastructure solutions based on client needs, including network topology, security architecture, structured cabling, VoIP, CCTV, access control, etc.

  • Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and BOQs using tools like AutoCAD or Visio.

    Cost Estimation & Proposal Development:

  • Develop detailed cost estimates and techno-commercial proposals.

  • Evaluate vendor/supplier quotes and ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

  • Work with procurement and vendors to get updated pricing and availability.

    Documentation:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, solution descriptions, compliance statements, and tender responses.

  • Assist in preparing project scopes, SoW (Statements of Work), and compliance matrices.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with project, design, and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with execution capabilities.

  • Support project handover by briefing the implementation team post-award.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication, or a related field.

  • 3 - 5 years of minimum experience in ICT pre-sales, estimation, system engineering, or solution architecture roles.

  • Experience in designing and estimating structured cabling, networking, IP telephony, CCTV, access control, and data center infrastructure.

  • Exhibits a strong understanding of ICT systems including networking (LAN/WAN), routing & switching, IP telephony, servers, virtualization, etc.

  • Familiarity with vendor solutions (Cisco, HPE, Dell, Hikvision, Aruba, etc.)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Visio, and estimation tools.

  • Certifications (Preferred, but not mandatory) - CCNA, CompTIA Network+, PMP, or manufacturer/vendor certifications.

  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Accuracy and competitiveness of cost estimates.

  • Proposal turnaround time.

  • Bid win ratio.

  • Customer satisfaction in pre-sales engagements.

  • Quality and clarity of technical documentation.
