Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, test, and troubleshoot HVAC systems across hotel facilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air conditioning and ventilation equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and ASHRAE standards
- Use HVAC tools and diagnostic instruments to identify faults and carry out repairs
- Apply lockout and tagout procedures and follow OSHA and hotel safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records
- Monitor spare parts usage and raise requisitions for HVAC components and consumables
- Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues regarding maintenance activities
- Support energy efficiency initiatives and system optimization projects

Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum three years of hands-on HVAC maintenance experience, preferably in hotels or large facilities
Technical, trade, or vocational certificate or diploma in HVAC or related discipline
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and instrumentation
Knowledge of safety standards, lockout and tagout procedures, and industry regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a large engineering team
Good verbal communication skills for guest and team interaction
Physically fit to perform maintenance duties in a high-rise environment
