Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard identification for all work activities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in line with UAE regulations.
  • Prepare and conduct emergency response drills and ensure readiness.
  • Perform site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legal and company HSE standards.
  • Deliver HSE training and awareness sessions to staff and contractors.
  • Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near misses; recommend corrective actions.
  • Support management in maintaining a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (mandatory)
  • OSHA or equivalent internationally recognised HSE certification (preferred)
  • IOSH Managing Safely (preferred)
  • Basic First Aid and Fire Safety Certification
  • Permit to Work Systems & Hazardous Work Permit Training
  • Risk Assessment & Accident Investigation Training
  • Strong experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective action planning
  • Ability to conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, labour law, and best practices.
  • Technical understanding of high-risk work activities such as lifting operations, confined space entry, and work at height.
