Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain up to date organizational chart for the unit

  • Manage manpower planning and ensure manpower report is generated and completed for the year

  • Ensure Job descriptions are maintained for all employees at all levels within the business unit

  • Assist in sourcing and recruiting the right talent within the timeframe for the unit

  • Maintain accurate employee related documentation/ record on our ERP system

  • Manage vacation calendars and attendance (PDT) activities to ensure all infractions are resolved

  • Ensure Leave plan is formulated at the beginning of the year and followed to avoid manpower shortage throughout the year

  • Identify training needs and organize training interventions to bridge performance gaps

  • Formulate and maintain the training calendar for the year and ensure regular trainings are conducted as per schedule

  • Coordinate technical evaluations through Skill matrix and manage performance management exercise

  • Analyze and recommend salary reviews to the GM to ensure we retain talent

  • Coordinate and complete goal setting forms for all key salaried staff and follow up for Performance review with GM

  • Manage employee separations in accordance to the HR polices and protocol

  • Conduct timely camp visits to ensure HSE and cleanliness is maintained as per company standards

  • Conduct site visits to ensure employees have the right working conditions and to highlight any other issues to the GM

  • Manage all employee grievances within the unit and resolve all concerns

  • Regularly meet with the GM and PM's to ensure all HR issues are resolved in a timely fashion

  • Prepare a monthly HR report for the Unit to include HR activities, operational challenges and solutions

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in the similar role

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
