Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Obligations:
  • Provide support to managers in the recruitment of all staff & participate in the selection of staff as appropriate
  • Manage the separation process for employees in termination and/or resignation and/or non-renewal situations
  • Establish and conduct orientation and induction programs for newly recruited employees
  • Ensure proper staff induction
  • Provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensuring that these are well managed and meet the requirements of the policies, best practice and employment legislation
  • Manager the request issues for Loan, Advance, Leaves
  • Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
  • Coordinate and resolve discrepancies with the Social Security authorities
  • Ensure alignment of policies and contracts with regulations, laws and ministries
  • Timely submission of all the required reports
  • Prepare a yearly training plan
  • Conduct continuous trainings related to employee behaviours as per the plan
  • Write job descriptions for all existing employees
  • Complete and fill all employee files
  • Follow up on daily, weekly and monthly payroll
  • Prepare reports as per the GM requirement
  • Follow up monthly on NSSF registration for employees
  • Follow up on health cards of employees in production areas
  • Update the organization chart of the company continuously
  • Manage the warning process
  • Update the salary scale and the card scale taking into consideration the High cost of living, the seniority and the employee performance
  • Prepare the legal documents for the Iso and the IFS, BRC and other audit

Desired Candidate Profile

- Develop and maintain a database of candidates via relations with search firms, in-house recruiting using online/offline advertising, to recruit suitable candidates

- Provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensuring that these are well managed and meet the requirements of the policies, best practice and employment legislation

- Write, maintain and update employment contracts, employee handbook and job profiles

- Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures

- Maintain leave and sickness/accident records

- Handle all appropriate provisions in relation to overtime, shift allowances, increments, change in positions
