Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Document Preparation & Verification

  • Collects and verifies personal documents from employees (passports, certificates, offer letters, etc.).
  • Prepares employment letters or sponsor letters as required by immigration authorities.

2. Coordination with Government & Legal Bodies

  • Coordinates with immigration consultants or legal advisors to ensure visa applications are compliant.
  • Liaises with ministries or embassies (e.g., MOFA, labour department) for visa stamping and approvals.

3. Application Processing

  • Submits visa applications (employment, visit, dependent, etc.) as per country-specific requirements.
  • Tracks the progress of visa submissions and informs employees of updates.

4. Compliance and Record-Keeping

  • Ensures compliance with immigration laws and company policies.
  • Maintains accurate records of visa status, expiry dates, and renewal timelines.

5. Employee Support

  • Assists new hires or expatriates with onboarding related to immigration.
  • Provides guidance on medical tests, attestation processes, and travel arrangements.

6. Renewals & Cancellations

  • Manages visa renewals, cancellations, and transfer procedures.
  • Ensures timely reminders and updates to avoid overstay penalties.
  • Payroll coordination for employees on international assignments.
  • Work permit applications in addition to visas.
  • HRMS updates related to visa status.
  • Attendance: Attendance sheet updation.
