What You Can Look Forward To

The HR Analyst will work on various projects and initiatives within the People & Culture function across the Asia, Middle East and Africa Region, as well as assist with the day-to-day HR operations for the UAE office. The HR analyst will work closely with the Regional Head of People and Culture and the Cluster HR Manager MENA to ensure that Svitzer offers a people-focused work environment with company policies compliant to the UAE Labour Law. Responsibilities will encompass parts of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding / offboarding and engagement. Furthermore, the HR Analyst will be responsible for projects such as policy manual reviews, contract reviews, system implementations and organizing training programs.

What You Will Do

HR Annual processes

Support the preparation, communication and completion of annual HR processes, such as: Performance Management, Rewards & Recognition, Training & Development.

Recruitment

Support The Talent Acquisition Process Including

  • Creation of Job Descriptions
  • Posting job ads across the region
  • Candidate screening and shortlisting
  • Conducting interviews together with the hiring managers

Employment Documentation and communications

  • Preparation of HR documents such as Salary certificates, Salary transfer letters, Employment Certificates, NOC s etc.
  • Ensure documents are issued accurately and in a timely manner
  • Manage the employee leave management system
  • Provide administrative support to employees for the enrolment and processing of benefits
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies
  • Periodically draft employee communications

HR Projects

Onboarding/Offboarding

  • Design and develop an onboarding and offboarding process that can be applied across the region
  • Implementation of the process, which includes people manager training, communication materials and ongoing stakeholder communications and tracking
  • Ensure the completion of HR onboarding and offboarding

Policy and Contract review

  • Review HR policies and manuals across the AMEA region, ensuring alignment to local labor laws and parity across countries
  • Review and update contract templates across the AMEA region
  • Participate in system implementation projects
  • Organize and coordinate leadership and training programs throughout the AMEA region
  • Organize and coordinate culture programs throughout the AMEA region

Who We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Completion of Bachelor s or Master s degree in any field of study; Human Resources, Communication or similar field of study preferred
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal
  • Affinity with the Maritime industry
  • Knowledge of the UAE Labour law and government regulations and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

  • This is an Emiratized role, it is open for UAE Nationals (with passport and family book) only
  • Traveling is not required for this role
