Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding operations on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, welding symbols, and job specifications.
- Prepare materials and work surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and fitting metal parts.
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure alignment and structural integrity.
- Maintain proper documentation of welding activities and material usage.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and quality control procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2u20133 years of MIG welding experience in industrial or construction settings.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and work independently.
- Familiarity with gas flow, voltage, and wire speed adjustment.
- Good knowledge of welding safety and PPE usage.
- Must pass a trade test before selection
