Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operational tasks, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety protocols in all activities.
- Support skilled workers by preparing necessary tools and materials, streamlining workflow and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, actively contributing to a safe and productive workspace.
- Help with inventory management, including tracking supplies and reporting shortages to ensure seamless operations.
- Engage in routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks, ensuring all equipment is functional and ready for use.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity of tasks and responsibilities, fostering collaboration.
- Follow instructions carefully while demonstrating initiative in problem-solving when challenges arise.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and contribute to team knowledge.
- Assist in the documentation of procedures and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Provide exceptional support to supervisors and team leads, actively contributing to project success.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks without restriction.
- Minimum one year experience in construction
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional language is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse team members and supervisors.
- Basic technical skills related to tools and equipment operation are essential.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a diverse environment.

It started its first activity in the field of soil investigation and recognizing the vast demand of testing service requirement in the construction industry, the laboratory has expanded its activity in the field of Physical, Mechanical and Chemical Analysis of Construction Materials. Understanding the principle of improvement through diversification, GTL has added to its scope facilities for the Environmental and Microbiological Tests. With almost a decade of operation in Dubai in the year 2005, GTL commenced operation of its first branch laboratory in the Emirate of Sharjah and later at Abu Dhabi in year 2006 and Al Ain in 2009.
