We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks to transport goods efficiently over long and short distances.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation and roadworthiness.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and transportation laws while driving.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules to optimize fuel efficiency and time.
• Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
• Monitor vehicle performance and address minor mechanical issues promptly.
• Keep accurate logs of working hours, cargo deliveries, and rest breaks.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and fellow team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the truck cabin and cargo area.
• Prepare and submit daily inspection reports and vehicle condition updates.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during transportation.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and safe product deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver s license (CDL) for heavy trucks in relevant class.
• Proven experience as a heavy truck driver with a clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of truck driving safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to manage long hours driving across diverse terrains and weather conditions.
• Excellent navigation skills with proficiency in using GPS systems.
• Physical ability to handle loading and securing of various cargo types.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not mandatory.
