Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and shape drywall panels to fit designated areas with precision, ensuring a seamless finish. Install gypsum boards on walls and ceilings using proper techniques that enhance both structural strength and aesthetics. Apply joint tape, compound, and finishing techniques to deliver smooth, invisible joints. Repair, patch, and maintain existing gypsum partitions, ceilings, and decorative works when required. Conduct inspections of completed works to ensure quality standards, safety, and compliance with UAE building codes. Collaborate with engineers, site supervisors, and other team members to meet project deadlines. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition while adhering to Health & Safety (HSE) guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry or construction is a plus. Minimum 3years of proven experience in gypsum carpentry, drywall, or related field (UAE experience preferred). Certification in drywall/gypsum installation or related trade from a recognized institution is an advantage. Strong knowledge of gypsum boards, ceiling systems, and partition installation. Familiarity with UAE/local building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance in all projects. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work independently, and deliver quality finishes. Good communication skills in English
