Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Marketing & PR Responsibilities
- Planning and administering the marketing budget of the organization.
- Creating, maintaining and executing an annual marketing calendar for all the brands in consultation with the brand team and the principals
- Ensuring all activities are executed in alignment with the promotional calendar across all brands.
- Planning and executing programs, campaigns, and activities to promote the company’s brands.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of the company’s public relations strategy and brand positioning across all business sectors.
- Promoting products and services through targeted advertising campaigns, offers, and discounts to attract and retain customers.
- Developing and managing a marketing database including client data, mailing lists, promotional history, and access to reporting tools.
- Meeting with print media representatives to build a strong media network.
- Coordinating with mall management for promotional participation and advertising opportunities.
- Managing all in-store signage and promotional displays.
- Liaising and networking with colleagues, suppliers, and brand principals regarding daily marketing activities.
- Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing ads in press (local, regional, national, and specialized publications) and on radio.
- Overseeing the production of marketing materials including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, and e-newsletters.
- Sending SMS and email campaigns to customer databases during promotions.
- Organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, exhibitions, receptions, and press days.
- Developing PR strategies, writing press releases, and building strong media relations.
Online & Digital Marketing
- Planning, managing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) to maximize ROI and brand visibility.
- Overseeing content strategy, creation, and scheduling for all social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Managing the company’s websites and e-commerce platforms, ensuring up-to-date content, SEO optimization, and smooth user experience.
- Executing and tracking performance of email marketing campaigns.
- Monitoring digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Insights) to evaluate campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Implementing and overseeing SEO and SEM strategies to increase website traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Managing influencer marketing collaborations, digital partnerships, and affiliate marketing programs.
- Ensuring consistent brand messaging across all online channels.
- Engaging with online communities and responding to customer inquiries, feedback, and reviews in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 7-8 years of relevant work experience in the PR/Marketing field with at least 2 years of managerial experience. Retail experience preferred.
- Master’s degree in Media/ Business communication/ Marketing is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Keen attention to detail.
