Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee all civil construction projects in Dubai, ensuring they align with company goals, budget, and timelines.

Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve exceptional results.

Drive business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and securing profitable contracts.

Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business through proactive communication and problem-solving.

Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards across all construction sites.

Oversee the financial performance of projects, managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.

Develop and implement strategic plans for the civil construction division, aligning with overall company objectives.

Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations to maintain a competitive edge.

Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors, securing favorable terms and conditions.

Manage risk effectively, mitigating potential issues and ensuring project success.


Desired Candidate Profile

Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Holds a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a General Manager role within Dubai.

Demonstrates proven experience in managing large-scale civil projects, including infrastructure, buildings, and commercial developments.

Exhibits a deep understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and relevant local regulations.

Demonstrates strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.

Possesses excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams.

Displays exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Exhibits strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Demonstrates proficiency in project management software and tools.

Nationality preference: Open to all nationalities, with fluency in English (written and spoken) and Arabic being highly advantageous.
