Core Duties

* Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and colorectal conditions
* Prescribe and oversee medications and therapeutic interventions tailored to patient needs
* Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy and colonoscopy
* Conduct detailed consultations, explain diagnoses and treatment options, and advise on diet, lifestyle, and preventive measures
* Monitor patient progress with follow-up assessments and adapt treatment plans accordingly
* Support patients with complex or chronic digestive conditions and their families
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated chronic disease management
* Contribute to research, clinical audits, and continuous education to enhance gastroenterology practices

Candidate Requirements

* DHA license or eligibility as Specialist Gastroenterologist
* MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent from an accredited institution
* Specialty qualification recognized by DHA, HAAD, or MOH UAE
* Certification in Basic and Advanced Life Support
* Minimum 5 years of specialist-level experience
* Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
* Strong record in managing GI conditions and performing diagnostic procedures
* Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and patient communication skills
