Your day to day

Truly memorable restaurant and bar experiences dont just come from delicious dishes, fine dining and exquisite ambiance. Which is why were searching for a new Bar / Restaurant Waiter / Waitress confident in delivering unforgettable experiences through a warm welcome, inspired recommendations and seamless service from starter to dessert and beyond.

Every day is different, but youll mostly be:

• Taking food and beverage orders from guests and delivering food to guest promptly after preparation.
• Provide immediate attention to all guest upon seating.
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate.
• Provide every guest in the restaurant with full attention, reception and best possible care.
• Be thoroughly familiar with the sales-program and constantly informed on all promotions, novelties and changes in the sales-program.
• Maintain a good communication between bar staff and to build a disciplined, well harmonizing team, especially in view of:
• Strict following of the beverage preparation and presentation standard, service standards, closing and opening check lists and follow billing and cashiering procedures, cleaning checklists.
• Perform special duties and projects as assigned by the restaurant manager.
• Be familiar with local food hygiene and HACCP guidelines as per Dubai Municipality
  
  

What We Need From You

• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling
• A good grasp of reading, writing and basic math
• The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol - youll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
• Great communication - youll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to
• Kicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomes
• Acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone
• Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings
• Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless
• Staying one step of our guests needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
