Roles & Responsibilities


Purpose

General Mills is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Food Service Manager to lead and drive business growth in the UAE. This role is responsible for managing foodservice distributors, handling the Bakery Ingredients, Frozen (Ice Cream, Frozen Vegetables), and Snacks Brands portfolio, and expanding key accounts across the HORECA and Bakery channels.

Responsibilities

  • Distributor Management: Lead and optimize relationships with foodservice distributors, focusing on sales strategies, pricing, promotions, inventory management, and performance analysis. Expand distribution through joint business planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Key Account & Channel Development: Build strong relationships with key HORECA and Bakery operators, securing new accounts, negotiating contracts, and driving menu placement and product solutions.
  • Sales & Business Development: Achieve and exceed sales targets, develop and execute sales plans, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate on new product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market analysis, provide data-driven insights, and stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams, providing regular reports and forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge

  • 5+ years of successful foodservice sales experience in UAE, demonstrating strong distributor and key account management skills.
  • Proven expertise in the HORECA and Bakery channels, with experience managing a diverse portfolio encompassing Bakery Ingredients, Frozen (Ice Cream, Frozen Vegetables), and Snacks.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, develop effective pricing models, and drive revenue growth through key account management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to sales forecasting and market strategy execution.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Bachelor s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience using CRM and sales management tools is preferred.
