Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job purpose:
To manage and monitor the Operations of AUH Rental, Yard & Disposals Team through implementation of set business practices along with continuous innovative solutions to ensure efficient optimisation of resources of Rental, Yard, and Disposals after an agreed criteria & management of human resources, focusing on exceeding customer satisfaction, growth and profitability with overall objective to exemplify the Hertz vision and brand image.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising/Guidance :
1. Acting as a mentor to the Coordinators and Car Washers to help them understand the importance of delivering a quality customer service experience.
2. Ensure they understand what is expected from them at work to meet the overall department targets.
- Reporting
1. Rental Logistics:
- Overall Fleet Status report for the Dubai and Abu Dhabi stock.
- CARPRO fleet inventory for fleet availability for AUH business requirements.
2. Yard Operations:
- Daily Car Wash Report.
- Car Washers Productivity Report.
- Fuel Reconciliation Report.
3. Vehicle Disposals:
- Remarketing sale exchange report
- Daily Inventory Report.
- Other Disposals related trackers.
- Operational Activities
1. Rental Logistics:
- Strategic fleet planning, forecasting & mobilization for fleet availability supporting daily business requirements.
- Provide Proactive Recommendation regarding the Fleet Status to facilitate timely promotions, rate change, off-sell decisions.
2. Yard Operations:
- Shift roster is available for adequate staff counts in order to achieve set target daily
- Ensure Daily Yard Management through proper Inventory Reconciliation & Physical checks.
3. Vehicle Disposals:
- Ensure Available Stock Report is provided to the Ops Manager/Remarketing Manager in line with SOP to finalize list of cars for Weekly Sale/Deals/Total Loss.
- Plan proper Logistical support to ensure relevant cars are moved for Weekly Sale List that is agreed by the Fleet Ops GM.
- Ensure all Reports and trackers are maintained on a real time basis.
- Performance Management
1. Ensure Monthly/Quarterly/Mid-Year/Annual reviews are conducted as per schedule with proper feedback and action plan to address any gaps.
2. Establish & follow up on Personal/Individual Development Plans for the year.
- Indirect Manpower Cost Control & Management
1. Strategic resource planning to meet the requirement of various Departmental Requirement, without or minimal OT required.
2. Monthly time sheet and OT validation prior approval of OT monthly pay out.
3. Proactive coordination for recruitment of any vacancies to minimize the down time and manpower availability.
- Customer complaints and resolution (External and Internal)
1. Ensure all policies and procedures relating to Customer Query Handling, Complaints resolution are strictly adhered to, to ensure Customer Satisfaction.
2. Where required Customer challenges are escalated to the manager as per process agreed.
3. Corrective actions to be taken to avoid similar complaints /feedbacks either by associate feedback or change of procedure.
4. Ensuring that complaints/queries from Direct Reports are dealt in line with HR policies, and situations requiring HRBP intervention are highlighted and followed up in a timely manner.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years Rent a car, Logistic experience, or equivalent
- Valid UAE Driving License
