Job Description

The Financial Analyst plays a critical role within the finance team, providing in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to guide strategic business decisions. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset to help drive financial performance and align business operations with financial goals. The Financial Analyst will work closely with various departments to collect and interpret complex financial data. They will also be responsible for compiling financial reports, troubleshooting financial discrepancies, and suggesting improvements and efficiencies within the workflow processes. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for numbers, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to work in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills for effective presentation and reporting of financial information to both internal and external stakeholders.


Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and deliver presentations to management.
  • Develop financial forecasts through trend analysis and financial projections.
  • Support budgeting processes with detailed financial data and insights.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving initiatives and drive efficiencies across operations.
  • Monitor industry trends and economic developments impacting business operations.
  • Collaborate with departments to understand financial impact of business actions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all reporting.
  • Assist in preparing strategic financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Identify discrepancies in financial reports and rectify inaccuracies systematically.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits with managers and audit teams effectively.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a financial analyst in a corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex data effectively.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to data analysis.
  • Experience with financial planning software and business intelligence tools preferred.
