Job Title: Financial Accountant & Tax SpecialistLocation: Dubai Salary: Based on experienceJob Code: 317/001/076Industry: Repair and MaintenanceJob Brief:We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant & Tax Specialist to manage financial administration, bookkeeping, and accounting processes while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The role requires strong analytical skills, a structured approach, and the ability to drive process improvements across finance and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have solid tax knowledge, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.Job Responsibilities:Financial Accounting:Record and verify incoming and outgoing invoices.Record general vouchers, accruals, and provisions.Create and maintain a chart of accounts.Prepare monthly balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow statements.Prepare monthly reconciliations and financial statements.Issue monthly invoices to customers (internal & external).Assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and records.Establish structured systems for recordkeeping and accounting.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, best practices, and government regulations.Prepare budgets, forecasts, and special variance reports.Conduct internal audits of financial and accounting records.Process employee reimbursements.Actively support finance-related projects.Assist the Finance Manager in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.Tax Specialist:Manage VAT, Corporate Tax, Global Pillar 2, Transfer Pricing, and Withholding Tax compliance.Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, CIT, etc.) accurately and on time.Ensure compliance with the Corporate Tax Law and relevant international tax treaties.Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations.Assist with tax audits, assessments, and queries from the FTA or other authorities.Review contracts and transactions for tax implications.Support month-end and year-end closings with tax provisions and reconciliations.Liaise with internal teams, external consultants, and auditors on tax matters.Maintain proper documentation to support tax filings and positions.Job Requirements:ACCA / CPA / CA qualification (mandatory).Maximum 6 years experience in finance and accounting.Strong knowledge and experience in VAT, CIT, Pillar 2, and Transfer Pricing.Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, ERP).Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.Excellent attention to detail, planning, and time management.Proactive, innovative, and highly organized.Strong communication and presentation skills.Team player with the ability to work well under pressure.Willingness to travel abroad when required.
