Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local UAE regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with department heads.
  • Monitor working capital, cash flow, and fund management to ensure liquidity and financial health.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of audit points.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax filings (VAT, Corporate Tax) in line with UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide strategic financial inputs to support business expansion, cost optimization, and profitability improvement.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and external consultants as needed.
  • Supervise junior finance staff and ensure skill development within the team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (from ICAI) with 4+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in finance roles within the retail or FMCG or Healthcare industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and taxation in the UAE.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
