Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee and strengthen the financial operations of our trading company in Dubai. This role goes beyond accounting — we need a strategic leader who can ensure compliance, optimize financial performance, and guide our finance team toward excellence. ✔️ Key Responsibilities ☑️ Finance Operations Management: • Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations. • Supervise banks, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, and payroll. • Ensure timely closure of accounts and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. ☑️ Compliance & Controls • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS, etc.). • Develop and implement finance policies, SOPs, and internal control frameworks. • Coordinate external audits and manage audit-related documentation. • Monitor adherence to company policies and risk management guidelines. ☑️ Strategic Financial Planning • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans; perform variance analysis. • Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and payment cycles. • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, new projects, and cost optimization. ☑️ Leadership & Team Development • Lead, train, and mentor the finance team. • Allocate workload effectively and ensure high-quality deliverables. • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA preferred). • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. • Strong knowledge of UAE statutory requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS). • Proven experience in general trading or import/export industries. • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. • Ability to balance hands-on financial management with strategic oversight.
