Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including timely invoicing and payment reconciliation.
  • Support budgeting processes by collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and variances.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist in maintaining accurate cash flow records.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial procedures and improve overall efficiency.
  • Maintain organized financial records, ensuring all documentation is easily accessible and up to date.
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and employee benefits.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
  • Assist in preparing for external audits by gathering necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred to ensure foundational knowledge.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting to demonstrate practical understanding.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) to enhance efficiency in financial tasks.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations, essential for maintaining financial integrity.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communicative abilities, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset to identify financial discrepancies and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment promoting shared success.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new financial regulations and software as required.
