Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including timely invoicing and payment reconciliation.
- Support budgeting processes by collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and variances.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in maintaining accurate cash flow records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial procedures and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain organized financial records, ensuring all documentation is easily accessible and up to date.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and employee benefits.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing for external audits by gathering necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred to ensure foundational knowledge.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting to demonstrate practical understanding.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) to enhance efficiency in financial tasks.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, for effective data analysis and reporting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations, essential for maintaining financial integrity.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communicative abilities, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset to identify financial discrepancies and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment promoting shared success.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new financial regulations and software as required.
