Job Description:

Leaders Fort is looking for a talented Façade Computational Designer with extensive experience in automation, computational design, and parametric modeling, specifically within the architecture and façade sectors. Proficiency in tools such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, Dynamo, and Python is essential.

Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate proven experience in computational design and parametric modelling, ideally in the architecture or façade industry. 

- Utilize building information Modelling (BIM) software, including Revit and Rhino. 

- Showcase proficiency in computational design tools such as Grasshopper, Rhino, and scripting languages like Python. 

- Exhibit knowledge of digital fabrication methods, including 3D printing, CNC milling, and robotic fabrication. 

- Collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment while managing multiple projects concurrently. 

- Possess strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences. 

- Work with large datasets to devise scalable design solutions suitable for mass production. 

- Analyze and interpret manufacturing data to guide design decisions and optimize production workflows. 

- Integrate computational design approaches into mass production processes, facilitating fabrication orders derived from parametric models with panel dimensions, quantities, and tags. 

- Understand industry standards and best practices related to mass production, including quality control, cost optimization, and supply chain management. 

- Coordinate and supervise the implementation of computational design solutions in large-scale production environments. 

- Develop design prototypes using a variety of software platforms. 

Qualifications:
-Prior experience developing workflows in a façade production environment.

- Employ computational design software and scripting languages (including Grasshopper, Rhino, Python, and Dynamo) to create and enhance architectural designs. 

- Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to translate design concepts into parametric models and digital prototypes. 

- Create custom algorithms and scripts to automate design tasks and improve building performance. 

- Conduct research and development efforts to assess emerging technologies and computational methods in architecture and construction. 

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in computational design and digital fabrication. 

- Work with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate computational design solutions into architectural projects from inception through to construction. 

- Communicate intricate design concepts and technical solutions to stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and documentation.
-Leverage AI (Artificial Intelligence), ML (Machine Learning) techniques to build innovative solutions enhancing design capabilities.
