Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide personalized service, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing point-of-sale systems efficiently to ensure order accuracy and speed.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to established service standards to enhance the dining experience.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area, ensuring a tidy and comfortable environment for all guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints effectively, demonstrating empathy and finding solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails and specialty drinks, following recipes and maintaining quality control.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the dining area, ensuring tables are properly set and the space is ready for service.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials, using suggestive selling techniques to increase revenue and enhance guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service, effective communication, and efficient operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and hygiene practices, to maintain a safe environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation of basic knowledge and skills.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with guests and colleagues.
- Proficiency in basic math and cash handling, ensuring accurate transactions and financial accountability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring adherence to health regulations and standards.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as the role involves significant physical activity.
- Excellent teamwork skills, fostering collaboration and contributing to a positive work environment.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service, creating memorable experiences.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written), with additional language skills considered a valuable asset.
