Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Risk and Fraud Prevention Executive is responsible for identifying, reporting, and documenting both potential and existing risks within the company. They will compile comprehensive risk reports and submit them to the Head of Risk and Fraud Prevention.
In collaboration with the Head of Risk, the role involves identifying, preventing, and mitigating fraudulent activities, including fraud transaction monitoring.
The Risk and Fraud Prevention Executive is authorized to access relevant documents, control areas, and personnel to effectively execute their duties
Desired Candidate Profile
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and analyzing potential risks that the organization might face, considering various factors such as financial, operational, compliance, and strategic risks.
- Contribute to the preparation of risk reports for management, summarizing key risk indicators, trends, and mitigation strategies.
- Communicate effectively with different departments or teams within the organization to gather information, share risk-related updates, and ensure a cohesive approach to risk management.
- Documenting all suspected fraudulent activities, investigations conducted, and actions taken. Preparing reports to present findings and recommendations to management or relevant stakeholders
- Report the Fraud Incidents and Counterfeit currency incidents to the FIU and CB UAE on a regular basis.
- Maintain and update the Risk Registers, Counterfeit Currency Register, Fraud Incident Register and Critical Incident Register.
- Examining Critical Incident Reports to identify irregularities or patterns that may indicate potential fraud or risk.
- Reviewing and analyzing transactions to identify any suspicious activities that could potentially involve fraud.
- Ensuring adherence to Risk and Fraud management regulations, policies, and procedures set by regulatory bodies and the organization.
- Identifying and reporting suspicious transactions or activities to relevant authorities and Risk and Fraud Prevention officer for further investigation.
- Leveraging systematic fraud detection tools for enhanced monitoring, analysis, and detection of suspicious transactions or behaviors.
- Promptly address alerts generated by the systematic fraud detection tools in real-time.
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports related to Risk and Fraud management.
- Integrate fraud detection tools with existing systems and platforms to ensure seamless operation and data flow.
- Work closely with IT teams to implement necessary APIs and connectors for efficient data exchange.
- Customize fraud detection tools based on organizational requirements and evolving fraud patterns.
- Create comprehensive documentation for fraud detection tools, configurations, and procedures.
