Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.

• Advanced knowledge of fabrication techniques and finishing processes.

• Strong command of software PlanSwift, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.

*Experience*

• 3–5+ years of experience in estimation within the fit-out, metal, and glass industry, with exposure to bespoke/high-end architectural projects.

• Proven track record of handling complex design packages, including metal cladding, stainless steel works, and specialty finishes (like electroplating).

• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and high-profile clients.

*Core Responsibilities*

• Leading the preparation of detailed estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions.

• Reviewing design drawings and identifying value engineering opportunities.

• Mentoring junior estimators and ensuring accuracy in their work.

• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and procurement to align estimates with execution strategy.

*Soft Skills*

• Strong leadership and negotiation skills.

• Ability to handle tight deadlines and multiple tenders simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Commercial awareness and strong client-facing confidence.
