Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and related systems
  • Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and scope of work
  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis
  • Prepare pricing summaries, comparison sheets, and tender submissions
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
  • Analyze vendor offers and recommend cost-effective solutions
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
  • Identify value engineering opportunities
  • Support post-tender clarifications and contract negotiations
  • Coordinate with project, procurement, and design teams
  • Maintain estimation records and cost databases

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of estimation experience – UAE experience is mandatory (UAE or GCC only)
  • Strong construction background (MEP / Mechanical contracting)
  • Good knowledge of UAE & GCC construction market, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools
  • Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
  • Familiar with tendering procedures and FIDIC contracts
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Immediate joiners or candidates with maximum 30 days’ notice period only
